- 1 cup chopped pine apple
- 1/2 cupgrated coconut
- 3 Greem chilis
- 1/2 teapoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup curd
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 2 red chilis
- Few curry leaves
- few small onions (shallots-Finely chopped)
In a pan heat 1 1/2 cup water. Add the chopped pineapple , turmeric powder, and required salt.
Let it cook till soft.
Once the pineapple is cooked soft, add the ground paste and mix well.
Let the curry to cook in medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes or until the raw smell goes off.
Stir in-between to avoid burning at the bottom.
Once the masala is cooked well, switch off the heat.
Close with a lid and let the curry to sit for 5 minutes.
Then add the beaten curd and mix well.
Heat a tablespoon of oil and then add mustard seeds and red chilli.
Once the mustard seeds splutters completely, add the finely chopped onion, curry leaves and asafoetida powder. Sauce till the onions becomes translucent.
Add the tempered items into the curry and mix well.
Serve hot with white rice.
