PREPARATION:
Chop the onion length wise and keep it
ready
METHOD:
In bowl take wheat flour.
Add the onion and other ingredients
except oil.
Mix well.
Add required water little by little and
mix well with hands.
Heat oil in a pan and make pakodas out
of the prepared batter and deep fry in medium flame.
Once pakodas are cooked well and
becomes crisp, drain from oil and serve hot with ketchup or chutney of your
choice.
NOTES:
- Don’t add water at the beginning itself, because the onion will tend to release some water, so mix well and then add water little by little and mix.
- You can even grind the green chillies and add instead of chopping finely.
- You can even add ¼ teaspoon asafetida powder too.
- I have used dried curry leaves , Fresh curry leaves always tastes best.
- You can even add finely chopped coriander leaves for additional flavor.
