Avacado milkshake is one of my favorite smoothies. It
is so simple to make and can be prepared in jiffy.
I have already posted a recipe with simple ingredients
of avocado and milk. In this post am sharing another type of smoothie which is
equally yummy and creamy. The best thing is I haven’t used ice cream in both
the recipes, and using ice cubes is also a optional. Using chilled milk will
give you right amount of chillness to you smoothie. So with out guilt we can
give this to kids too.
The main ingredient for this smoothie is avacado ,
milk , and banana. For sweetness, I have added honey. So this is more healthier
smoothie. Adding banana gives little sweetness and creaminess to
the smoothie.
As I said in my previous avocado smoothie recipe the main
thing we need to take care is using good quality avacado, because if the
avacado is not fully ripen or not in good quality, it will taste bitter.
I have experienced this. So take care of that, and
taste the avacado before making smoothie.
I have first tasted this avacado smoothie here in a
shop named 50 fruits. They serve wonderful avacado smoothie and we are a big
fan for it.

AVACADO SMOOTHIE WITH BANANA

INGREDIENTS:
1
medium sized ripen avacado
2
tablespoon honey
1
medium sized banana
1
cup chilled milk
Few
ice cubes (optional)
PREPARATION:
Wash and peel the skin of avacado and
chop them into small pieces.
Chop the bananas into small pieces and
set aside.
METHOD:
In a mixer grinder/food processer jar
take all the ingredients and blend well.
Adjust the sweetness by adding or
reducing the amount of honey.
NOTES:
I have used pasteurized full cream
milk, if you are using unpasteurized milk , boil and let it cool. Then refrigerate and add.
If you are adding ice cubes, no need to
refrigerate the milk. Just use cooled milk.
Instead of honey you can use white
sugar or brown sugar or condensed milk too.
Adjust the amount of milk to get the
desired consistency (thick /Thin) shake
