Masala milk is a very tasty and healthy milk . it is nothing but a flavourful milk prepared using milk and some spices. There are many versios in masala milk, which differs in the spices used and its measurements.
Here in this recipe I have shared a very basic recipe with few easily available ingredients like dry ginger, cinnamon saffron etc.,
This masala milk is very much perfect to have during this winter season.
Ok now coming to the recipe.
MASALA MILK

SERVES: 3 persons
INGREDIENTS:
2 cup milk
2 tablespoon palm candy
3 tablespoon masala milk powder
To prepare masala milk
powder:
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup cashew
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon dry ginger powder
10 pepper
10 cardamoms
saffron as required
A little nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 table spoon milk powder

Roast the cashews and almonds in low flame for few minutes separately.
Then cool down completely.
Grind the nuts along with saffron, cinnamon powder, cardamom, dry ginger powder, nutmeg, pepper & turmeric powder into fine powder.
Don’t grind the nuts and spices continuously, give some intervals and grind , so Use pulse option to grind.
Then mix the milk powder.
Now our masala milk powder is ready.
Store in air tight bottle and refrigerate.
Boil milk and add the palm candy powder for sweetness.
Then add the masala milk powder and mix well.
Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in between .
Now flavourful healthy masala milk is ready.
- If you like you can even add few pista & walnuts too
- Adding milk powder is purely optional, Adding milk powder gives very nice thick milk.
- You can store the prepared masala milk powder for around 2 - 3 weeks in refrigerator.
- Roasting the cashews and almonds helps to grind the nuts easily.
- Always use pulse option to grind the nuts smoothly.
- Instead of palm candy, white sugar/brown sugar can also be used..
