Paneer Manchurian is a popular Chinese dish can be
serves as gravy or dry along with any Chinese main dishes like veg fried rice,
schezwan fried rice etc.,
It is such a simpe recipe that requires very less
ingredients only.

Ok now coming to the recipe.
PANEER MANCHURIAN

INGREDIENTS:
To
make Paneer fry:
100 grams Paneer(Cottage cheese)
1
tablespoon corn flour
1
tablespoon all purpose flour(maida)
½
teaspoon pepper powder
¼
teaspoon salt
1
tablespoon water (approx)
Oil
to deep fry
To
make the sauce:
1
medium size Onion
½
medium sized capsicum
1
spring onion
1
inch ginger piece
5 garlic cloves
1
green chilli
½
tablespoon soy sauce
1
teaspoon vinegar
¼
cup +2 tablepoon water
1
tablespoon corn flour
½
teaspoon pepper powder
PREPARATION:
Chop the onion as 1 inch square pieces
and separate the onion petals and
Keep it ready.
Cut the capsicum into 1 inch sized
square pieces and keep it ready.
Finely chop the garlic and ginger and
keep it ready.
METHOD:
First prepare the paneer fry.
Mix corn flour, all purpose flour,
pepper, and salt with panner.
Add water if required to make the flour
to coat well with the paneer pieces.
Don’t add more water. (Please refer the
video..)
Heat oil in frying pan. Add the flour
coated paneer pieces one by one gently in the well heated oil.
The oil should be in medium heat and
the flame should also be in medium.
Fry the paneer pieces till they become
golden and crispy.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Next step is making the sauce.
In a pan add oil. Let it heat.
Then add the chopped ginger , garlic
and spring onion white part.
Sauté for 30 seconds.
Then add the cut onion and capsicum.
Sauté for around 2 to 3 minutes.
Once the onion and capsicum are almost
cooked but not loose its crunchiness, add the soy sauce, ketchup, and vinegar.
Add rewuired salt. Mix well.
Then add required water and let it boil
for 2 minutes.
Then make corn flour slurry (corn
flour+ water) and add it to the boiling sauce.
Once the sauce becomes thick, add the
fried paneer pieces.
Then add the pepper powder and spring
onion green part and mix well.
Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
Sauté well.
NOTES:
While mixing the flour with the paneer pieces, don’t add more water.
Just sprinkle little by little and mix.
Adjust the spiciness by adding
/reducing the pepper powder.
Adding corn flour slurry is to make the
sauce thick. So add as mentioned quantity.
